heater valve leak

hi gent does anyone know a quick fix for a leaking heater control valve on a 280z its i small leak ? car has been stud for a long time but cleaned up great .not so for the pipe work i had to trim it as it was perished at the ends any help would be great chris

I might have a spare heater cock but they do vary across the years a picture of yours would help

hi mike i think its the pipe work i had to trim it. the heater cock was stuck in the cold part as my car is from arizona .the heater cock it looks mint i will have to have a look where its leaking .a quick side line a i sent all v55/5 off to the dvla and they want to do a sgs inspection . not to far off at 85% till finished . as for the leak if it wont stop i will block the pipe off so i can drive it ps is your cam cover still for sale ?

Like you said you can just block it off for now to keep it running.
My mate has had a sgs inspection and got his v5 a week later.
I have a black rocker cover on ebay at the moment.
