I was at the hillclimb as a marshal this year due to a minor injury stopping me competing and have to say that ken did a first class job of upholding the Z name in the face of some fierce competition. Putting out of his mind a heart stopping moment(due to a technical problem I understand!!!!!!!<img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='
'> in practice, he pressed on to produce an incredibly brave and hard drive to finish the season with a personal best time showing the rest of the class that he is going to be a force to be reckoned with again next year.I take my hat of to you ken, you are out there doing it in a very nice example of the 240Z that should easily walk away with trophies at a show and in my view had the car been at Billing should have got the best prepared race car trophy because it is actually being used in competition. As a final comment when I started hillclimbing I was given a great deal of support from various members of the club, for which i was and still am very grateful. It means a great deal to anyone competing to have that support so how about it next season. It may not be as glamerous as circuit racing but it is still a hell of a buzz to see the Z competing with and beating some very fast sports cars. Have a local group trip to a hillclimb next year, I even managed to get the old Thames Valley group a convoy run up the hill to start the meeting one year. Those that were there will tell you what it was like. Once again, good on you ken it was a brilliant way to end the season
