Guage and running lights not working.

Anyone know of this happening? I've heard of a main fuse but what's it location

The fuse diagram should be on the back of the fuse box cover, but if it's not, check them all.

And which car are we talking?

If its an S30 it may well be the faulty headlight switch problem. A strip and clean of the contacts could well sort it if the fuses are ok.
