I do this for work stuff, however its based on some real volume. is it a one time purchase?

I use OFX and Wise, depends who you are buying from.

I used Transferwise (now just called Wise I think) when I arranged the diff filler socket group buy. Very easy and a decent rate compared to the options at the time.

OFX is better for car, larger sums once verified. Purchase 5 cars using them from Japan/USA

Just to second the comments about Wise (formerly TransferWise). I've used them for several years for currency transfer and they are excellent, both in the rate you get, charges applied and service.
