Hi  We're new to the board and are hoping to meet other lovers of the 280zx near us.

We live 15 mins from Glasgow and Falkirk.

We bought our beloved Demi from ebay over a year ago but due to hubby's work taking him away from home we havn't got as far with her as we'd like to have gotten.  She's been off the road for about 12 years and judging from little things we've found it wasn't a love affair with her previous owners, but we're determined to get her back on the road.  Some folk think we're mad for taking her on, then see her and know why we have.  Mind u we thought we were mad for driving down to Rochester with a trailer to collect a car we'd only seen pics of but we wouldn't part with her now for anything.

Would be great to met other folk from scotland with a love of this gem

I am also thinking of buying a 280zx in the future to rebuild but for now I have enough of a job finding time to work on my 240..

Distance is no object if you are after something that you realy want,I drove all the way down to Yorkshire to strap a 300zx z31 to a transporter and fetch it for my wife and I didnt have a photo, but plenty of phone conversations,some people think i'm mad. <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

Mad yip we fit into that catagory &nbsp;we drove down to Rochester to collect our 280zx with only a couple of pics from ebay &nbsp;she washed up better than we thought, still not on the road but that's down to hubby's work amongst other things, but hopefuly she'll be back on the road for next summer.

Ah but next year I think I'll need to book a much bigger stand than this year. &nbsp;Should have got one like the Fiat's, more space for the cars to be shown off better specially Jim and Kathleen's 240. &nbsp;Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> SR

yip we enjoyed it and i'm nagging him to get some parts but his ours r playing havoc on calling folk etc.

i'm determind we'll be there with u on the stand next year but i think i'll need to get a whip haha

just be careful maybe the whip's a bad idea? dont worry if the cars not ready we turned up for our first meet in our Maxima with some photos other than that you cant beat a car transporter trailer !maybe Rochelle should drive from the stories that she told ,only joking Smudge.
