I ran this engine my car until I replaced it with my current L29 in 2015 and it made ~190 bhp in 2.4 guise. It's been bored to 86mm and pistons replaced with the original standard L28 flat top pistons from the L29 engine to make 2568cc and 10.5:1 CR, should go nicely! Fresh bore, new piston rings, new rod and main bearings, new cam timing kit, new core plugs and new front and rear seals. Ported/modified e88 head with Kent Cams P284 cam. Price : £1500 More detail: 5L half baffled sump (ex LD28) and a spacer under the oil pickup to get the pickup nearer to the bottom of the sump. Balanced original L24 rods and balanced L28 pistons. Pistons modified with 3cc dish to get CR to 10.5 Kameari MLS 1.5mm head gasket. (refurbed, 2nd use) E88 head, polished, unshrouded and ported. ~35cc chambers. 33mm exhaust, 44mm inlet valves. New steel inlet seats and valves and guides circa 2012. Only missing the water fittings and water pump, but I think I can find them if needed. More pictures next.
