What's properly? The only way that anyone could hide the fact it's not had 5 or more roles of mig wire added to it would be a reshell. In which case 'this car' wouldn't be a show winner...

If you want to weld up stuff to look as much like factory as possible it can be done, but prepare to get the spot welder out and of course it'll all take a LOT longer ...
