Ok I want to fit A/C.
I haven't seen how the old USA after market kits where fitted .i would like to know where the evaporater was fitted .
I am guessing that most had a evaporater fitted between the fan motor and the heater box?
The reason I ask is that most of the new kits available here in the uk are basic and simply have a single outlet .
The best kit I can see is from vintage air in the USA .There kit has motorised flaps to split the air flow between dash vents and screen.
Why I ask how the old systems worked .Is that I am kind of thinking along the lines of keeping the original heater box and distribution unit but binning the original fan motor. Then fitting a basic a/c evaporator and fan motor unit under the glovebox with its output being directed thought the original heater box.
