The car shown in the photos was Knieval's car and was customized by a guy called Carl Green the roof was chopped and the body was fitted with Jim Cooke modified flared wings and rear spoiler it had eight bulbs as full width rear lights and rectangular headlights from a 1978 Ford Fairmont.
The size of the windscreen wipers blades show how much it was chopped they where shortened from the standard from 18 inches to 12 inches
The transformation from a wreck to a show car took 30 days of intesive work and it was covered in a book called "Creative Customizing", ISBN 0-82275026-0, with 46 photos showing how the work was done
