Electric fans

Hi all,

Can anyone offer advice on fitting an electric fan and/or electronic ignition. I understand Kenlowe and Pacet have a good reputation for fans and Lumenition for ignition. The car by the way is a 1976 260+2, standard engine other than 240z carbs and K+N filters. Any thoughts, recommendatios from previous experience much appreciated.

Read the thread in "News, Views & Chit Chat" on Electric fans - push or pull? This should give you some idea's.

You can use 280ZX electronic ignition. Probably works out cheaper than Luminition.

Thanks for the info, sounds like an easy modification to make especially as Pacet appear to sell all the neccesary bits in one kit, although the electronic thermostat option bumps up the cost considerably. With regard's to the 280ZX electronic ignition, is it simply a dizzy and coil swap or is it a bit more involved than that!

The Kenlow comes as a kit too. I have just bought one but not fitted it yet.£101+vat.
The 280 dizzy job is just a straight swap with just one wire extra.(I think)
If you put a wanted advert on the web site I will respond to it!! (Oops were not supposed to say that are we??? ) Please ignore the last sentence.
And finally. I am not using those bloody tie wraps to fit this fan. Thats deffo.
Happy kerb crawling everyone whether its in Stevenage or UAE.(Oops I mean cruising) Please ignore..... etc
