Hi every one been out in the car today and noticed an annoying vibration somewhere on the car it wasnt a filling comming out of your teeth vibration, it is difficult to say where it came from but appeared to come from the prop dif area it appeared at about 70 ish and disapeard at past 100 mph but seemed more prominent once i had driven hard, could it be the dif mount which looks ok but is old, or could it be a mis-alined propshaft i ask because i have just moved the engine further back and fitted a R200 dif, also had propshaft shortened and balanced, but i have been under the car checked every thing nothing loose, every thing looks good, does any one know how to check for propshaft alignment, ive spun the prop while looking at it and it seems to spin true obviously spinning at 4-6000 rpm is different but does not look out of align, could a bad geabox mount cause this problem, the problem may have been here for a long time but due to the car handling badly ive never driven it at high speeds, but now car is handling better due to swapping the suspension i have been testing it out and noticed this little annoying problem, if it was a prop alignment problem would it be there all the time and get worse as the speed increases, at low speeds 30 ish not really evident unless just thrashed car then more noticible any tips from people who have had the same or similar problems.
