"From a field of 59 cars , the Zed proved it can run with the big boys ! The Stu Hayner/Cronin 350 Z was driven like it was stolen driving from 10th place to finish 3rd !Trailing behind two Porsches , the Hayner Cronin Zed was FANTASTIC !The lead Porsche of Terry Borcheller was running out of gas in the last three laps , but some how pulled it out .

The Hayner 350 Zed had the chance to finish second , even first ! The second place Porsche driven by Cosmos drove a fine race as well . Three Zeds were entered and the Schuitemaker Zed finished 7th , having lost its fifth place just in the final two laps ! The other Zed finished 26th in the GS ( Grand Sport ) category of the Grand American Cup series .

The Daytona 250 in Florida runs for 70 laps demonstrating the reliability and strength of the 350Z ! The two top Zeds were both blades .This could be the year of many top finishes for the 350Z in this series with these top drivers !We'll keep you posted."
