Once again the Z Club is proud to be providing cars for the Nissan stand at this fantastic event of Historic racing, displays and family entertainment. This year's theme on the stand is the racing history of the 240Z, so you will see Big Sam, Hugh Myers' rally car, Matt Bannister's HSCC racer, Ben Stapley's Janspeed hill climb car and Ken Dollen's G-nose hill climb car (ex-Dave Jarman Mod Sport) on display with examples of the new 350Z.

Dates are 22nd and 23rd May at Brands Hatch circuit in Kent. I hope to have specific Z parking available on South Bank.

All Z Club, Z Register, 300ZX.co.uk and 350ZUK.com members are invited to attend. I will have complimentary tickets available for each day for those able to attend with a Z or ZX; please phone to book a place - 01277 374201.

Looking forward to being deafened by the EuroBOSS cars again. This time I will bring ear plugs! :D

According to the Brands website they're £20 on the gate or £12 in advance

Having said that, according to the booklet they were giving out after the BTCC race last weekend it should only be £10 on the gate.

No official parking area this year, but I would suggest that we try to blag ourselves into the South Bank area as last year and form up accordingly......?

Only saw two other Zs (other than on the Nissan stand), a red 280 parked on the southbank (which was otherwise jam packed with Lotii, MX-5s and a few other clubs), and a red one which followed me off the M25 onto the A20 and then disappeared into the paddock (if you're on this board, did your phone camera picture come out? :D ).

Bit disappointed by the very small number of EuroBOSS cars actually running (only 5 or 6), but the Zig Zag Benetton Judd which set a new absolute lap record for the Indy circuit was mighty up through Surtees and McLaren.

The highlight for me was actually seeing Jim Clark's Lotus 32B on the track - pity it was just being paraded and not driven in anger.

The 350Z with the Nismo bodykit looked the dog's danglies in the flesh.

I've stuck some photos on my web site.

The red one that followed you onto the A20 was me, and the gap behind your car was perfectly placed, believe me :) We were scooting along past the traffic jam thinking "This can't be for Brands!" when we saw you, saw the gap and nipped in! My friend had paddock parking tickets so we shot in there. And yes, the camera worked!

Glad you had a good day too.

The red 280 was Paul Wrangle's - thanks for the beer, mate, btw. :)

Really enjoyed the day's racing - there was at least one other 350 there (mine ;)), but I parked in the normal plebs car park, and I must have missed yours :(.

I too, liked the Nismo bodykit on the blue import - apparently it'll take a trip to Sunderland to get it fitted "officially" .. nicest kit I've seen so far, though .. me want! :D

Lovely day - thanks for the tickets, Mike. Just wish I was a better blagger and I'd managed to get on South Bank.

CheerZ,
JB.
