Both nice cars Jez.
The red one is a rare car. Last of the early shaped cars before the facelift came along.
Nicer proper black interior and manual box, didn't seem to rust so much either. Both cars not overley priced Imo.

The red car is at a garage about 500 meters from where I was born! I go to Stone every week to see my Dad so I'll call in and have a look. They are mainly a 'bike shop but I have seen another Z31 there about 2 years ago.

I seem to remember that they had an early z31 Turbo last time.

The Mk1 model in red with a black/grey interior is probably the best colour combo!

Ok I called in to see the red Mk1 today and spoke to the owner.

It is a lovely car and in excellent condition.

This really is a good chance to buy a genuine minter!

The only negative was an aerial base for a CB radio mounted between the glass panels.

Outside was this car which I've seen there before, he says it's 'dead':
