Climate Change?

Unless the US sort their hugely insular belief structure out and start working toward helping China (where 1 in 3 of all human beings alive come from) to kick start some kind of new thinking on 'fuel' there is bugger all point in anyone here worrying about it because there isn't a damned thing you can do that will have any impact. It's very wrong to tax us for it but the government in the UK has f*cked away all of our money for the next 5-6 generations so stealth Eco-Taxes will just become more prominent. The earth will change for sure, and not even I could help there...

The most we can do is offer empathy that we might've sped things up a tad because emerging mass markets (ie India, where 1 in 5 people on earth come from and China) will want to have their own little stab at 'micro-capitalism' and they should be allowed it. Who are we to say to these masses of peeps that "Okay, we've been scorching the earth for the last century to forward ourselves but realised we've done a booboo, so now you guys who have your turn in the spot-light now can't because we've realised from our mistakes..?". It doesn't really wash does it?

Me? I'd love a car. But I cycle (and re-cycle too, see what I did there...) so I can live happy knowing that I'm paying plenty of tax just to make sure that a piss-poor government can pay their pension fund and sort out the big-wigs at the banks and just keep rolling and rolling. Whatever.

Rob, enjoy your 240 because you should. You've paid your dues and will 'til you can't. We all will.

America... Hello? There are other countries out there (not just Cuba, Libya, North Korea and Iran) who have the balls to say "F*CK OFF". Help make a difference for the better for a change for the earth. Not just at home.

Holla.
