Hi all,
I bought a choke cable (standard twin cable for twin SU’s) from someone and recently tried to fit it, but found that it’s too short.
My car is a US import (left hand drive) with the choke cable hole in the firewall on the passenger side of the car, meaning the choke cable has to travel over the top of the engine to get to the carbs.
I seem to remember seeing a picture of a right hand drive car where the choke cable comes through the firewall on the passenger side instead - did they use different length choke cables for LHD and RHD cars, does anyone know?
Any knowledge on this would be helpful.
Thanks,
Simon
