I was at the post office today in my 240. On my way out this geezer was looking at the car. He looks up and says, "love your car mate, haven't seen a Capri in ages." Insulted :eek: as I was I just couldn't be arsed educating:smash: him so I just smiled and took off.
 
When my brother had a 240z - an Aussie rushed up to him and gasped "Love your Ferrari mate!" :thumbs:
It's the Z31 owners i feel sorry for - being asked questions about their Supra:lol::eek:
 
Ive had a couple Z31's and got the Supra T-shirt as well as one Ferrari :thumbs::lol:Mind you it was from an 80 year old lady :D:driving:
 
Could be worse than a Capri (still a looker I reckon) but yeah, considering how good a condition your Z is in (doh!).
 
sorry,made me chuckle.i had the usual what is it when i had the 280zx,and after telling them its a datsun they still didnt believe me
 
When I had 2 Z31s in my yard a neighbour commented that Manta's are like buses, you don't see any for ages then 2 come along at once,

"But it's not a Manta"
"oh, What is it then??"

I've been after one of these for ages - give me first refusal if ever the sad moments comes when you decide to part with her - any chance of loads more photos inside and out, the engine, the open hatch etc so I too can ruin my trous - please ?

Not thought of different wheels ?

Those are actually mk2 Ford Escort rally arches. A perfect fit for the 120A Coupe. check out my restoration pics here, Drewsdats: 120A Restoration and you'll see why I had little option to go the wide arch route since repair panels are unavailable for the wheel arches. I was really lucky to find so many other new panels. makes life so much easier.
