Still can't make my mind up what to do with this one. Haven't touched it since picking it up so started it today.

With the black car out of the workshop and tucked away in the garage at home, I started looking at the blue one yesterday. The biggest thing that puts me off this car is the interior and the dented floors so that looked like a good place to start. Didnt take long to strip the interior then started on thwe passenger floor with a mallet and blocks of wood. Half hour later and I've got it looking pretty much as it come from the factory. Chipped a lot of the sound deadening off to reveal the off white paint underneath. This side is all solid and original with just a small amount of suface rust in a few places. The drivers side is not quite as good but an hour or so with the wood and club hammer and its as straight as the passenger side. This side has also never had any repairs but has a few small holes that need sorting. There is also some rot around the gromett holes but all very isolated with with the original white paint under most of the sound deadening.

Car's looking way better all ready. The rest of the car is solid and straight with nice panel fit and gaps. I'm leaning towards the rat look with this one. Restored interior, running gear, underside, shuts and engine bay but leave the paintwork as is. Even the wheels and tyres have that 70's apeal.
