I was under the impression that your car had been restored by Auto active not that long ago? Perhaps I am mistaken.

It was a few yrs back yes.

Well doesn't look as bad as my land rover did I had a small hole, then noticed the metal patches around the holes hand Heinz stickers on the back im sure, so having pulled that off I had a wireframe version of the chassis

Good to see photos of work in progress on a driveway though Don't feel lonely now...

guys, if the hole is patched up, i hope that doesnt class as restored, more like repaired ! seriously, if you(re gonna keep the car, or even if not, a restorer would be thinking of replacing the chassis rail here !

Yep, every time I need to work on the car it means working out on the driveway.
Fine till the sun goes down tho, then it means out with the candles lol

I’ve cut out as much as needed (including lumps of filler) and now have a replacement chassis section sorted waiting to be stitched back in.
Just wish it didn’t get dark so flippin soon.
