After a lot of research and 10x more heartache I've finally got my reversing camera working. It's works with the factory nav screen and the signal switches to the camera when the car is put in reverse.

Definitely a DIY job, I'm sure you are up to the challenge Rob.

Here's a quick pic taken during the installation:

Since my car is a non-Premium Connect the video switch box was quite expensive (it's cheaper for the newer 370Zs). To give you an idea, the switch box and camera cost me £130. Other than that you just need a few scraps of cable and connectors.
