300zx for sale on gumtree

Yep looks a lot of car for the money.

I'd be frightened to run an old car of that complexity though.

They're really not that bad, yes there's a lot of stuff under the bonnet but much of the messy stuff can be thrown in the bin! As for the actual engine, there's roughly 30 feet of induction pipe work, but again this simplifies down easy enough. Once the upper plenum is off and the rad/fan assembly are out there's a very compact and simple v6 waiting for you. One that even in stock form has dyno proven upto 800hp and can run 500 odd horse very reliably.
The biggest fear anyone should have of the z32 is it's ability to quickly show it's inner demon.

As Steve (z32bolt) has said they really are not that bad and if you buy a good unmolested 300 they are no trouble at all to keep. I am on my 2nd 300zx TT and 5 years of ownership with no issues ever just normal maintenance. Buy a good one and you will love it Smokie.:driving:

Yup, every Z32 has a devil inside it, keeping it at bay is the challenge. Good maintenance, good fuel and making sure you fix problems quickly and properly seems to be the key.

My wife has threatened to leave me if I bring another car home   :D

That looks like a nice car, i bought mine on impulse 2 years ago and absolutely love it.. glad I went the 300 route.

If that car has not rot look s a good motor and bet there would still be a good deal to be done..?
