You have to ask why someone would take pics inside a gloomy garage rather than in the daylight?

Some people just have no idea of how to present things for sale - you should see some of the estate agents' photos here :

a blank wall
photo from inside via outside, forgetting that outside is brighter
a floor
trees covering the house so you can't see it

I could go on.

When the car was for sale before, the owner sent me some much better photos....Trouble is I had a Z32 sitting in the garage then and needed to sell that first!
It's true about estate agents photos too....I had to get them to come back and re-take all the photos of our previous house, as they were all cr@p!
