280ZX Earth Wire

On my 280ZX, can someone please tell me where the black earth wire which is next to the starter motor, earth's to.

on the 240/260 the earth from the starter goes on the bulkhead via a threaded insert.

Thanks, thats how I have it. I thought it may had to be earthed to the body, I have just changed my engine, put the all the engine bay wiring back. But now I have a problem, if I connect the wire to my low pressure switch the light does not come on at all, if I disconnect the wire the low pressure light comes on, but when I start the engine the light goes out, how? as the wire is not connected to the pressure switch.
