280Z with RB25DET build

So I don't intend to do a big build thread but at least the coronavirus has let us concentrate on striping the 280Z

I drove the car around for a while, it wasn't fun, a rear tyre was square and steering heavy.

It got a lot of attention anyway

Looks a good base to start from, but have a close look at the roof trailing edge and the area behind the hatch hinges, mine was quite bad in those areas.

we have checked its just powered leaves, looks worse in the pictures, more to follow

lots of surface rust

I have a set of UK 260 2+2 seats, I suppose I will use the ones the covers I sourced in the US fit. Is it easy to get the foam?
 
looks like you craving on with the strip down :thumbs: are you planing to get the shell media blasted ?

Really solid car, nice one!
I’ve never seen a dash stripped back to the frame before, what’s the plans for that?
