280z carb conversion Holley 4 barrel?

The good news is I have found a zed needing recommissioning. The original efi looks like it will need a fair bit of work so I am strongly leaning towards replacing it with carbs because I want to get it on the road quickly.
I have seen this holley on eBay and wonder if anyone has used this set up before?

My other option is to have a set of 240z carbs restored and jetted to suit which will probably be similar money depending on what needs replacing however will be more time consuming.

Go with the latter. The side intake carbs are so much prettier. Plus that’s extremely expensive for that manifold and carb, I practically couldn’t give one of those manifolds away a year ago.

I agree with Dan, go with the SU setup as it looks correct and they do perform pretty well absent triples.

And you can backdate your 280 to the look of a 240 with SU's and smaller bumpers etc if you like.

Should be able to find a good set of SU's and air cleaner on this forum.
