It might be fine, but it might also hole a piston so I best wait :)
 
That looks absolutely stunning, and if it's MOT'd and insured, I don't know how you can hold yourself back from driving it, lol. Well done on the build, it really is an awesome looking car.

tbh it's the also the lack of TAX thats stopping me from using it right now :(
Knowing my luck I would get a tug and have it taken away by the nasty piggy man :eek:
Roll on the weekend as me insurance starts from then so I can apply for tax then.
After that it should be good to go and take it to get sorted :thumbs:

Only changes I would contemplate (if it were mine) are- clear lenses for indicators, black on the door frame and qtr window so that it blends in and lower..much lower !...
I am from the zero arch clearance + scrape the speed bumps brigade:eek:

Cheers, I do agree with lowering it, but as the springs etc are all new I thought I would wait
Not sure I like clear lenses tho? Maybe I like the std look more, if that makes sense ?
As for the window frames, again a bit of ol scool chrome works imo

Its your car buddy , so you choose...if it were mine, I would be enjoying the drive 24/7;)
 
Definitly looking great. I'll be interested in how she hanldes once you got it all setup and how well it drives on the road.
 
That really does look gorgeous. I'm with you both on the lowering thing, it could go lower, the front wheels could come out a few mill as well, I do think clear lenses would look good on those front indicators too, but I'm definitely all about the chrome window surrounds, they just add a nice bit of 70s retro, to a car that is otherwise looking brand new like it's just been re-released by Datsun :D
 
It gets better each time I look at the pictures posted. :bow: Can't wait to see it - and to watch it run in the flesh.

Mine's finally going in for MOT so I'm crossing many fingers!

Stunning - congrats on a beautiful mean machine! Looks to a be a bit of a traffic stopper that one...
 
How are you getting on with this? Is it going well, got it handling yet?


If you have any more photos of how the fuel tank looks on the car that would be good as I'd like to get a better idea of how it looks as I definitly need to get a tank made.
