240 on Sky (Motors)

I have recently had Sky+ installed and trying the recording facilties out. I recorded 'Made in France' yesterday on the Motors channel. When I played it back in featured the Peugeot RC Cup and then 'Endurance VHC' from the Ledenon cct in Southern France.

In the field was a 240 driven by the Miroux brothers! This car was also the one chosen to film an in-car lap!!

The report is very amateurish but interesting.

Sky appear to repeat programmes frequently and tomorrow(Monday) at 6am on Motors is 'Made in France', it may be the same one!

I've met 'em and the two sons are flyers on the track - at Dijon recently in the six hours endurance, they finished 4th overall, ahead of ALL the GT class and most prototypes (Chevrons etc) !
They and their father are extremely pleasant. The dad used to race the 240 and before that a roadster, they have a Nissan garage in Belgium !
The car handles like a dream, is very well prepared and makes a noise - ummmmm !

ps, most French television I consider amateurish, especially motor-sports with tossers who know nothing trying to gabble on with some form of commentary - not something that inspires to learn the language !
