1978 280z Problem

Hi, I sure hope someone can help me out here. Here is my problem. I bought a 78 280z and it ran pretty good. When I got it home I sprayed the engine and compartment with engine degreaser and then hosed it off, (bad idea) ever since it has ran like total shit. I replaced the airflow meter, the tps, I put in new injectors, new plugs and it still runs like shit. could it possibly be a cracked dist. cap or weak coil? I need some help.

I'd guess something is still wet - have you tried WD40 on the distributor and leads?

When my Z31 got soaked I had to replace the distributor, after that a few injector connectors. not sure if that counts for 280 tho.

Check every elec connection there is for gren corrosion

Dizzy and coil replacement - start with the dizzy - pick one up cheap on ebay - fit new cap and rotor.
