    Yes, you are absolutely right...i regret the shortcut last year with hammerite. Will take it to a professional to do at some point, as easy enough to pop off the bonnet.

    So that's the engine bay complete, just ready for the newly refurbed round tops to go back in and a freshly painted airbox.

    Just a thought get the battery charger ready to go once back together.
    How bad would it be to get rebuilt then need to wait until the next day as battery charges up.
