Just in case anyone fancies a change from a Z or an interesting stablemate going to post here details of a 510 I have recently imported from a hot sunny climate for re-sale and will offer it on here before advertising elsewhere. It's been owned by just one family from new, grandfather and grandson.

The bodywork is in superb original factory condition, all spot welds intact, never been welded and incredibly rare to find in such pure condition. It has the original L16 engine which starts, runs and drives well with nearly 100bhp, very respectable for the day. It has always been garaged and well looked after over it's 53 years in the same family.

As with all old cars there are a couple of areas that could be improved, cosmetic in this case, the drivers seat will need a repair and there is the usual hot climate split in the dash. Never customised or messed with, still runs the steel wheels and chrome hubcaps it left the showroom with back in 1970. A blank canvas - keep it original or put some alloys on and change it's look again.

Way better than any Mk2 Cortina in my book EXTRA:D
Yes it is a 4 door but the price of 2 doors these days is through the roof (if you can find one)

Priced at £11k........ if interested I can send more detailed photos. Can be viewed at my old Chicken Shack in Woodbury, Devon.

That is one clean 510.
And RHD to boot.
Have never seen one in the states and prob never will.
Even the 4 door 510's here are pretty ratty tatty compared to this one.
