Yes, we had a set originally destined for the 280Z and I refused to fit them. In fact we still have them somewhere.

There are good quality metal repro ones available in Japan for around the £200 mark which have quality lenses and the sprung arms. I know it’s a considerable amount more money, but worth it.

Just to save anyone time replying.

I posted the same question on 2 FB pages and got a lot of good replies, mainly saying that while they look ok they do not perform well.
A common theme is the lack of a sprung mirror so the image, in the poor quality mirror, is less than adequate for what you would need for safe effective use.
The mounting point also works loose over time.
One chap linked a very goof YouTube video of them I'll post for anyone interested.
