This Zed has come a long way since I first saw it.
Just fantastic work John, I can imagine the amount of time and work involved up to this point!

The car has been back together and used for around 500miles now. I have made a half hearted attempt to sell it but no one has come up with the £25k asking price so I’ll continue “improving” it to my liking. The paint has some slight colour variations which I can’t live with so it’s going back to the paint shop on 17th to get this sorted. I then need to address the engine smoking a little. I’ll probable just fit the superb l28 engine I removed from the silver car as I know this has no issues. Next I’ll move onto the interior. The rear strut vinyl isn’t in great condition so I’m thinking of replacing the entire interior with the diamond stitched leather I used in the red 280z.

I’ll carry on evolving the car, as I do with all the others, and using/enjoying it until the right buyer comes along .

With the car now sold it just a case of sorting out the final jobs. The car went back into the pant shop for some colour matching and a few marks repaired. Paint is now superb. Next on the list was fix the engine smoking a little. The easiest way for me was to swap it for a know good l28 that came out of my silver car. The final job will be to change the fuel sender and the car will be ready to go.
