i hope you doubled up on the newspaper as it is very absorbent and the paint will go through it and then make the newsaper stick to your bodywork !!!!
how did you find spraying it easy....hard ?if it is that etch primer i sent and it has gone on smooth, a quick flat or a scotchbrite pad and if you do not go through to bare metal should be alright to topcoat.
Mike I did you that zinc paint you gave me, went on a treat. Painting was a little tricky as there is not much room to move about and reach all the areas.
The newspaper came off ok. Its not perfect by any means but it good enough. At least I know its solid with no rust and a nice clean start to my turbo project. Thanks for the tips!
