Good job we've got Amazon Prime - I can continue to indulge childishness watching the old three's new show!
I might need to buy one of these Amazon Fireworks that Jezza advertizes:driving:

Ok we are all different. but to say Im boring is wrong unless you are being specific to your view of it.
Oh! I did fancy a reply here but you will only moderate/delete it.

Pete just write everything you want to say about me in a PM entitled 'Boring Gaskit'.

Well I was going to post up saying what a funny entertaining kind of fella you are.
Full of incisive wit and jovial anecdotes. Not forgetting to mention your encyclopedic knowledge of all things S30:bow:
Now you have blown it and mentioned the B word.:D:D:D

 Sometimes you show your true colours.

By the way when you quote someone don't change the text or it's not a quote;

Ok we are all different but to say what I like is boring is wrong unless you are being specific to your view of it.....

I think we can all agree ^ is boring:devil:;)

Goes back to the old saying, one man's food is another's poison.

Badminton is only boring if you are not trying to win. Same with most sports.

At 63 there are not many competitive sports that are suitable, especially when you have a worn-out knee from running. What sports do you do Preet?

When my partner throws his racquet at the wall and his drinks bottle on the floor because he keeps losing it's quite exciting.

People think long-distance running is boring but it's not if you are racing or going for a PB - every stride counts.

Same with track-days - a race driver would find those boring, but it's less boring than staying at home!

Anyway enough of this boring stuff.

Or watching it ... and surely in the context of this thread, that's what we're talking about, no?

Also, true of other peoples track days and jogging etc. Fun to do, boring to watch.

Actually I remember watching badminton at the Commonwealth Games and finding it absolutely enthralling - the speed of reaction was amazing. The hall was packed.

Aside from Evans chucking up while being thrown around the track, the real story is that all is not well with the production team - people leaving, the Beeb having to pull people in from the magazine/website production side to get guidance on series content, what cars to feature etc. Sounds like they don't really have the right team/knowledge base or focused direction for the new show.

The old three will have the last laugh here I think.

Methinks Mr Evans is no petrol head....he just buys the cars that petrol heads love.

I also think (IMHO) that the BBC never really "got" Top Gear........and didnt realise what they had until they lost it.

All part of the bigger plan by the bbc. lots of hype and media to keep everyone interested.
