Xmas meal

It all started with aperitifs, Pineau, Trousspinette or Champagne. Then onto fresh shrimps on a bed of home grown lettuce with a dry Jurançon white and finally, a 1995 sweet Monbazillac and a home cooked foie gras and biscuits.
Next, a cold roast beef and assorted salad served with a Châteauneuf du Pape and a tasty Bordeaux, then cheese swished down with a lucky find, a 50 year old bottle of red that had turned nearly to Port and ice-cream with another sweet white. Coffee with Grand Manier and a nice stroll under a blue shy to ease it all down. What more can a man want ?

Well we even have that - there is an English couple who have 3 sites where each evening they set up their mobile F and C shop - real Cod and chips in paper !

What is the point of a Mrs that can't cook ? And Status, do you really drink 'wine' at 2.99 from Tescos ? Or is it for rubbing on your lumbago, old man ?

Topped it off last night with foie gras (again !), Gambas and 24 oysters - cost 4 pounds 69p for the 24 ! Mache (salad) and a selection of cheeses washed down with a jolly bottle of Chateauneuf de Pape ! Ice cream and a cuddle on the sofa with the fire burning, watching a couple od films !
