Its nice, but i'd prefer this https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1971-datsun-510-21/
AND for a lot less than the Alfas it beat in period.
One has all the styling of a cardboard box, the other is bellissimo
I'll take the shoebox - thanks - anyone can buy and drive a Fiat !
I'm with Chris on this one. Love the 510 but would take the "Fiat" home.
I keep looking at your roadster on eBay. It’s lovely. What was in the boot full of bits? Think it would scrape an mot as is?
Would need little to pass MOT but brakes are spongy and need attention.
Talking of Alfa and Nissan who remembers those awful hatchbacks of the early/mid 80s from their unlikely joint venture.
Alfa Arna and the top of the range Nissan Cherry Europe GTI.
Now there is a car, any left on the road today ?
I know of an owner with both.
I like your Roadster too.....
At more than twice the price of the 510, the Alfas' price opens up a lot of choice.
Twice the price ?
How much is a good 510 these days ? I heard they were tres cher in Japan and catching up elsewhere. They do have a certain charm but would match them up to the Guilia Super rather than GTJ/V. See the Italians can even make a shoebox design look amazing.
Shameless plug for those wondering which roadster is subject of above mention.
You're just an internal combustion hussy...and an old one at that.
Compare like for like though - it was against the GTV that the 510 raced (and won). And yes, I'm currently reading "The stainless steel carrot".
swap for some rear lights, a 1972 honda sl350 k2(hrc frame) and a pair of Yamaha rt2's(ankle breakers)
Prefer four wheels on my wagons these days, you need to concentrate on finishing your Z, don’t need any more distractions
Hence the removal of the above
