Steve, if you'd been at the Brighton Speed Trials last year you would have seen the Puma in action - overall winner and class record holder...

Errrrmmmm, I have a bit of an addiction. So, maybe a samuri, and a G nose racecar, and a Skyline powered 240, and.....and.....!;) :D

My250GT is a gent, I met him when going to collect the Z leather seats he had for sale. :) I must say the space frame chassis he has is most impressive. :) If I had the room I'd love to have a go at completing it.

So that'll be a Samuri then......

When Spike originally started the company, no one knew how to spell samuri correctly - they guessed at Samuri and registered it. A genuine spelling mistook. :conf2:

My theory is that the professional sign writer wanted too much per letter and Samuri was cheaper to paint then samuri. Considering the name of the car was repeated a few times on the panels it would have made a considerable saving.:D

the other story is that the name samuri was regestered to another company

The other story is wrong :D Spike told me how they ended up with the name himself
