Decided to take the subaru diff out aswell to double check the backlash and then hopefully adjust it.
They have shims in the the side flange assembly, I took one out on the left and put it on the right side to move the crown wheel but it was too much, so I put it back but will try again later and just take one shim out of the left side and see how it goes as i need to get some o rings aswell before puting it all back.Nice work sir.
How do you adjust the backlash then?
Sean - Bailey propshafts have made a new one for Dean recently. I think it was £250 + vat for an all new item (not shortened).
I think he means not a shortened original prop but a brand new one? Thanks John - I'll ask him but surprised 'not shortened'......
