It would be great to see Matt back on the track again. I am going to have a go in mine at the HSCC meeting at Snetterton next weekend.

In any case, Matt needs to bring his Z to each of these meets next year - it can be safely stored to avoid two Channel crossings.:)

A bit of fun

I think its worth mentioning to anyone viewing this thread who doesnt know Matt (or some of the contributers) any comments on here are just a little fun, Matt is well known for getting behind peoples projects with huge enthusiam, often almost bullying people to get things done, without it several peoples cars would still be in the garage.

I know Matt very well (sadly) and he is pretty thick skinned ....bit like a rhino really except they dont have small genitals.

I am however quiet worried about him as he has been talking about buying a BMW

I take it you don't Know about the BMW show at Santa Pod?

He's dragging along 3 other Z club members and trying to convert us to the dark side. I am now finding it imposible to resist so he may be using witchcraft. Please help, I feel I'm no longer in control and I'm loosing interst in Z's......must resist....must resist.......

I vaguely remember him mentioning it however the moment he began talking about buying a pinstripe suit and having his teeth whitened I switched off.

Johhny you have to resist, stay away from the light

Remember in every M3 glove box theres a membership card to the tossers club entitling you to pull out of junctions without warning and when alerted to the fact that a fellow driver is in your vicinity (a little toot of their horn) it allows you to respond with friendly finger gestures reminding them that they have misunderstood the road traffic laws and that you are always right. The free pair of glasses that you will find alondside the card also helps you see the world in a different way, all of a sudden the blue disabled sign outside of the bookies is translated into "free parking for you, you greek god"

Don't worry boys. Bmw show clashes with Japfest 2 at Donington. I wouldn't miss the chance of a ride round Donny! Still want an M3 though

We were out there slogging it with the classic exotica and Mr Bannister was slugging cold champagne with the girlies and being chauffered in a diesel, airconditioned BW !

Maybe he aint so stupid ?

I think after LM Classic, Mr Bannister's is feeling the need for comfort hence his 'switch' to a BM - does the M3 come in diesel so he can play the practical Essex boy at the same time ?
