As some of the committee still haven’t grasped it I don’t need to message anyone as anyone should be able to read the parts wanted ad if they are a member or not and not have to join a car forum to help others out it’s you the committee that put a block on members receiving help from people like me well done ,no wonder many have left as for those bits i took then to the dump this morning, many agree but I suppose this will get taken down because some on the committee don’t like it ,on behalf of those members that I might’ve been able to help A Big Thankyou, absolute disgrace

I've explained it to you many times in the past, but you don't seem to retain the info: restriction of 'wanted' ads to the members only area is the result of a decision by the members some years ago. It is not an arbitrary decision by the hitlers and starlings in the committee. The committee just gets the job of enforcing it (and reminding you, over and over).
If any members would like to revert the policy, perhaps you could start a thread or a vote in the members area.

Paul buddy if you think the committee need a bit of a gee up there is one simple way pay your subs and then apply to join the committee and that way you could endeavour to discuss things that you feel could be adjusted

So, evolving the rules is only possible from within !

Porky I’ve offered my services on three occasions over the years but was ignored due to the fact I say it as it is and some don’t like that and Jon why do you want to stop members from benefiting from stuff that non members might be able to sell to them, just doesn’t make sense if it was the other way round it might be a bit different but then you would still be penalising members on a sale hence a few well know former members don’t bother with the club anymore as this subject has been discussed time and time again
