Great welcome, fantastic atmosphere and we have reserved a stand only for the Datsuns.

I'll need confirmation of names and cars please and not at the last minute !

Won't be doing the 24hr, but will be along to the classic 2016..

Only issue being how to fit me, the wife and the baby into a 2 seater 240z.... Perhaps I should hunt out a 260 2+2?

I might try and do the classic next year as a 40th birthday present to myself.

I want to see you spend more time and obtaining results over the BBQ if you do.

Just don't bring the dog ! Best bet, buy your wife that Corvette and come in two cars !

I will certainly try - we'll be on our own, although with the new born will not be camping, and damned if I'm driving slowly with a caravan again! The wife is trying to book a gite somewhere, so I'm leaving her to it..

We did try to find you guys over the weekend, but was generally nobody around on the stand..

THAT'S why you had my tel number which is also on my signature.;)

Thanks for the photos though.

So, speed, no dog, no caravan - back to basics !

Yeah, back to basics, but the basics must include a Gite says her indoors.. "I'm not camping with a baby!!".. I have offered to leave them both in the UK and go alone, but she's not up for that idea!!

Resist.....at least a little for the form - never drop the Z and stay young with a bit of 'boy' left inside. Rare is the wife that doesn't ultimately want that off you you as well.

An option - leave baby with granny (ies) for a weekend.....?

If you want to follow the Drivers' parade in the centre of town, I can think of no better way than this - please let me know if you're interested and please don't leave it 'til the last minute :
Hello Sean
I am Jean-Louis Paterne's colleague and we spoke over the phone last week.
I am in charge of the Cavalcade at the Classic British Welcome in St Saturnin on Friday 12th June and am therefore looking for a couple of cars to take part in it.
The Cavalcade is about getting 40ish cars lined up to go from St Saturnin to Le Mans city centre to the greatest pleasure of the locals who enjoy seeing so many nice diverse classic cars.
The Cavalcade will leave St Saturnin at around 4pm on Friday 12th June and will be escorted by Harley Davidson through villages to a city centre car park where we have booked parking spaces, just on time for the Parade des Pilotes (parking fare will be payed by car drivers, however, it is down to each car whether they want to go in the car park or not, so long as they stay in the Cavalcade up to the car park).
Therefore, I would be very grateful if I could at least line up a couple of Datsun for the Cavalcade.
If that's ok, I'll need the make, model, year, colour, owner's name and a contact mobile phone number or email.
The selected cars will need to be in St Saturnin by 2pm and look out for the Cavalcade sign (right at the entrance of Val de Vray where the exhibition is taking place) where we have a dedicated Cavalcade car park....
No rush, if you could get back to me before the end of May, that would be great!
I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you on the day!
Best regards,
Magali Raynaud
