Thanks, for that looks like I am running a more aggressive spark table 22 degrees at 12.psi done 2 tuning runs tonight I think I'll leave the ve table there as it going really well and the AF ratios are good across the range. might book it in at Triton to get a power read out.
Just for info Spyro, my set up is a stripped and cleaned F54 block P90a head just a skim clean 8.7:1 compression polished and balanced L24 Rods Forged 1mm overbore Flat top pistons 2mm metal Head gasket and loads of other stuff which would take me ages to write, hope this helps.

Finally my head is coming along, here are some shot of the combustion chamber before and after...this is a p90 head :) , you should have seen the crap that came out of the water ways from the acid bath, no wonder my old head had cooling issues.

Long time no Z. Nice to see a lot of Z projects still on going. I have my modified cylinder head for sale. It has all new stainless valves, gas flowed and modified combustion chambers. Would be great for turbo build.

I went from an L6 turbo to a 5.6 V12 :)

How mad, I was only looking at this thread two days ago and had noticed you hadn't logged in for ages.

How's life? Is the 5.6 an 850csi? What about your old Z do you still see her?

Sweet ride Simon and I bet the electronics side to those keeps up your interest.

Good news to hear your old Z is doing well and will be out to play soon, albeit with a new owner.

My Zs been on the road for some time now, absolute blast to drive! :) as you know turbo Zs are :) :) a lot more torque then I was expecting so its clutch upgrade time.....

Yep it has 2 ecu's, one for each 6 cyl plus a 3rd ecu for fly by wire throttle. I have removed the chips and have dual emulators plugged into the engine ecu's ......basically I can adjust fuel and ignition like an after market ecu but keep it all stock. It has active rear steering, traction plus ABS so it's pretty advanced for its age.

Yes the torque is huge from those turbo motors......the SPEC one I had was good value.

Nice car. I've always liked these but the minor changes you've made really improve the look.

Thanks, a previous owner asked BMW to fit AC Schnitzer bodywork, suspension and wheels, the car only has 55k miles from new with full history. It even had extended warranty until it was parked up 6 years ago. I agree though, it looks a lot more aggressive than standard.

Finally my P90 head has been finished. It's had combustion chamber modifications, the material around the spark plugs has been removed to allow for higher boost without detonation. The valves have been changed for larger Ferrea stainless steel valves ...44mm intake 35mm exhaust.

The head has been acid cleaned, skimmed, new 3 angle valve seats. This work was carried out by Lloyd specialists developments at great expense.

Combustion chamber volume is now 52.8 cc.

Email me if interested.

Price £1,500.00
