If you are talking about the basic external look, then no. The longer body mentioned to you would be the 2+2 version, which is a foot longer and different roof profile. But the 2-seat 260z is the same basic shell design. Inside, under the skin, etc., there are lots of differences though, especially between the 240Z and the late 260z. Top line diffs - engine, rear light design, dash and interior.
This is why I mentioned that a RHD swap in a 280z could be challenging; although cars in the S30Z range have superficial similarities, there are many model differences and complexities that make interchangeability less straightforward in certain areas.
