Which track were you thinking of ? Outside is best of course but, this time of year it's bloody cold.

Maybe. To travel to Wakefield is ok for me as my daughter (Amy) lives there. However I would hope they are reasonable karts, do you have a website link for info.
If I come up I would like to think my lads will join in too and I'm sure Amy will have a go. I will warn you though that my lads are quicker than me .

Hang on a minute guys, Lets start thinking thinking about where everyone lives shall we.
Leeds and Manchester are at least four hours drive away for all us South east racers! I may as well suggest Buckmore Park in Kent,(cracking track) Not much good for you lot Up North is it?
Surely there must be something in the Midlands? Preferably indoors.
Maybe us southern boys can show you how it's done!

Why not have the guys n gals up north battle it out and the top 3 or 4 take on the same top 3 or 4 from the saaf (after a similar battle). The final could be at Z009 (which I believe is reasonably central to everyone). That would kick arse!

Cool, I'm sure us Essex boys can Kick your butt!
Oh by the way I don't say 'saaf '. I am from the posh part of Essex. Na what I mean Geeza!

I did think about that Jak but it then turns one karting event into three. I have done an endurance event at Walsall. That is run on a team basis and requires both driving skill and good tactics. Interested?

As a matter of interest it would make sense to have an indoor track at Santa Pod for those wet days :driving:

Oh I see. I didn't realise this was a Yorkshire only thread! Perhaps you should have mentioned that in the title.
If you could let zclub members know in future that only certain people are allowed to participate in YOUR threads we would all be most gratefull. Come to think of it I'm not really interested in anything you have to say anyway.
By the way all are welcome to the Halfway house meetings. ONE ZCLUB !

TBH I didn't notice at first that it was posted under (Yorkshire) I normally just look at thread titles and open them up if interested.

So was this intended as a Yorkshire Gp only event or open to all as long as it takes place handy for the Yorkshire members?

This is another good example of internet comms getting aggressive because of misunderstandings and insufficient information.

Then simply politely point out to all the people that replied to the thread and were not from Yorkshire, that the event was intended for your local area. That way we all just move on peacfully. I don't believe it was necessary to acuse me personally of hijacking your thread. However no hard feelings, lets move on.
