Current French 'rallye car'

I meant comments upon the work undertaken - the quality, and finishing and not if it's historic :) !

Blimey ---- have to be carefull here, dont want to upset the owner:(

With the greatest of respect and IMHO, it doesnt look to be prepared to the standard of say the EAS car we have featured.
It looks very busy under there -- lots of wire, tiewraps and tape, jointed top radiator hose (no doubt for the thermocouple) etc -- all things that could put you out of the running if they failed.

The strut bracing looks interesting, not only is it a "Vee" back to the bulk head but it looks to have two runners (one either side) going down to the base of the suspension struts.

My only comment would be : DE LA MERDE !
While I still have no computer proof that the struts bars are a plus on a 240Z... years of track abuses reports have given me a hint...
I have yet to see a class victory, of you know who, to let me think a v brace is a good idea. I think a full triangle would be better, no?

Aha, finally the last two posters speak 'direct speak' !

I can't understand why they added all that meatl and forgot to ad the important bit across the strut towers ! And I wonder what would happen if the car hits something in the front and those 'reinforcingbars' pierce the fire-wall :)

You forgot the text...
"I just had a fax from Nismo Bamako... with a roll of tape and a bag of nails I am going to improve chassis stength by 0,05%"

I like him, just don't like what he does to Zs !
I told him...
Sean told him...
He is a good driver, and with the cash he invested in this... herr... thing! he could have had a better car... lot better!

The owner's alright but is the pidgeon of the car preparer who is an ignorant, arrogant man - the Z specialist of the West !
And the wicked witch of the East is - www.zpassion.free.fr !

I'm looking forward to when I've mine to finally convince the owner of what a Z should be able to do (stop, handle, go, steer.......look nice ?) Oops, is that arrogant or just realist ?

Yeh but the trouble is; he is driving all year round doing the most fantastic rallies while you are still waiting if your creator will finish your car??!!
