Actually shaun, I reckon this car was almost certainly made right at the end of 1972 calendar year production. Probably around the middle to end of December.shaun said:Can I presume that HS30100712 is 10th july, 1972........right or wrong
Nissan Shatai's records for 'HS30' VIN-prefixed cars show that the last HS30 they manufactured in 1972 calendar year was 'HS30-100800' - only 88 cars after yours........
'HS30-102129' was made in 1973 calendar year for sure. Looking at the Nissan Shatai production figures, I'd say that it was possibly made somewhere around March or April - but only a good deal of cross-referencing of part manufacturing and quality control date stamps will get you any closer to the truth. Perhaps take a peep at the wiring loom tags to see if you can find any clues?Zed2k said:My car also came up as a 71 and my chassis number is Hs30 102129 I will check to see if I can locate any component build codes. as most parts are still standard well the steering wheels is... Oh, and I don't trust any information from the DVLA whatsoever.
