And now I'm back, The car performed faultlessly all the way home at a steady 70-80 but boy was it it a thirsty f*cker lol. I must of spent over £250 just on fuel maybe more.

Good to meet Ed and his boy though it was a shame to be surrounded by all those rusty fords lol.

Hi Rob
Glad you made it home & sorry to have missed you :(

Off to collect an MR2 tomorrow as a run-about while I restore the Z - I reckon with the fuel saving I can afford to do it :) :) :)

MR2 = proper scaletrix car :driving:

You should have driven like Rob Gaskin then.........

Well I reckon a direct run from Rob to Eddie's house return is 1132 miles. I would have used about £220 for that alone so it can't be that thirsty mate it's a long way!

Rob, this journey is actually 150 mls further than my trip to Le Mans!

I agree it probably wasn't that bad really, I don't think the SU's are spot on so I wasn't expecting much better to be honest, But I am thinking of selling the triple 45's and buying a set of jenvy throttle bodies instead .

Ed I'll post up the pictures in a moment but I only really took a couple and I don't think they will come out much good because of how dark it was in the car park.
