280zx bit's are still readily available, finding a good shell,panels,etc
is another story. If Suzy's parting with the 280zx than contact her & source
parts that are required. A lot of the manual gearboxes have mostly ended up
in the predecessor models but auto-boxes should be found with relative ease.

used to have auto and manual boxes trim etc but got rid of nearly all of it years ago can remember trading good manual box for auto rad with zxtra for a car i was repairing,i think i was one of the first to fit 300zx seats into a 280, ust found a rear light infill panel in my old garage complete with number plate holder and lights, just need a car to put them on now!!!

It was just meant to be a straightforward gearbox change after bolts fused therefore an extra days work.... figures of £600

Adrian is doing the work, I need to speak to him again. it is not so much bolts for the gearbox itself but the manifold, which has to come off to change the gearbox, but then I think this involve moving fuel injection systems etc etc etc etc
Like I said I need to speak to him again, mind just went blank at £600

£600 to change a rwd auto box?

at least I'll bugger off as I just picked up a manual '79 model free of charge (cost me 100 quid to get it to my place -that's all) ! 46000 miles on the clock
