another small update, ive been doing a bit more engine work, found a nice leak in the radiator, i say leak, but its more like a water fall! i left the car running for 30 mins and noticed water on the floor. its coming from the bottom of the radiator where the plastic bottom meets the crimped metal :( so new rad needed.

cosmeticly the engine bay is looking pretty sweet. ive cleaned alot of crap out from there so i can actually see white factory paint.lol ive painted one of the rocker covers ( in red caliper paint as its very heat resistant ) to see what it looks like, looks HOT and will post pics tomorrow :)

as for the body work, i ran out of funds but now i have some cash for her :) so i will crack on tomorrow and all next week.

again, pics will definatly be up;oaded tomorrow late afternoon :)

Looks good buddy. I am currently in the process of doing this myself. Problem I have found is you make something all nice and shiney and it makes everything else look even worse lol. Keep up the good work.

this is bloody true bud.lol, ideally i need to take the engine out, clean the crap out of the engine bay and get it blown over  but winters on its way rapidly and i dont want to be stuck outside, freezing my jacobs off trying to put an engine back in.......so it will be fine for now

Feel my pain buddy but thats exactly what I am doing at the moment. But hey ho in for a penny in for a pound. At least I can get a space heater in there to keep me warm while I do it. I reckoned if I am going to all the trouble of getting the engine out in the first place I don't want to be having to do it again 6 months down the line to finish the job off. Might as well get it all done in one fell swoop.

Never owned a white Z31. Had a red one, maroon one, and now my silver/grey one. If you mean a prefacelift Z31 they had a front splitter on as standard on the turbo models (same as the red one in my gallery)

No white Z in my gallery mate. You must of slipped to another by accident. In fact I think its Z31Turbo's your talking about

This one?

If I remeber correctly it is Avente kit. I think you can get them from japanparts.com but are pricey. Mr.F on here shgould be able to point you in the right direction though.

As I said I just looked it up briefly ... expensive brand new and probably very very rare as well second hand

See pricy lol .... I am sure there are cheaper options out there. I know the common one is the kaminari kit.

Lol ... have a word with Mr.F ... as said he is the best place to start to source these sort of things ... if not point you in the right direction.
