You have to realise that out here the people have very limited budgets (typical monthly wage is about £130) but want to customize to be different. Labour is cheap so they pay people to make things rather than buy bodykits. The Z on the wing is around 50mm deep. Not to everyones taste but they try.

So this is probably the dogs, in Oman then. Its that difficult to see why if you use your imagination, after all we are used to seeing Zeds in many shgades and states of restoration, from the daily runner to the mint example. If you were say, not in tune with or about cars, like say your average housewife who sees a car as merely a means of transport, and some do you know, then this would look like a new ferrari wouldnt it.
